Like This?

An idea for discussion if it's not exhausted already:

Ford can't win. Give it up! Jr will be a candidate for Memphis mayor next year - after his resounding defeat for US Senate.

I just can't figure out the which Republican is going to win!

John, that's what I said. And the funny thing is, an 8-year stint running this city would probably be good for Junior. It's the kind of real life work experience he's never had, and it would certainly be the first step in a run for governor and then president, if that is where his aspirations are. But I expect he'd much rather stay in Washington because, you know, math is hard, and stuff.

And Cracker, there is no what if. He is both.

That subject still has legs.

I like "Strategy vs Substance: Should we have stances or is winning all that matters?".

I don't think "progressive" democrats should keep supporting republicrats who are democrats in name only, and keep blurring the lines between the two parties... If we keep voting for them.. nothing will change.
Ford Jr. is NOT going to win this state no matter how much he panders to the right-wing christo-fascist homophobes. And even if by some miracle he does.. will he really make much difference if he votes more like a Republican?
And if we reward people for campaigning AGAINST progressive values and issues, how is that "progressive politics"???
We have to quit voting for the bastards..
I'm running as write-in candidate against Ford Jr. in the primary, but I'm voting for the Green Party candidate in the general election.
I will NOT vote for the Uncle Tom.
